Country Reports 2025

 Here are the country reports that my amazing 6th Graders of the 53rd Primary School of Thessaloniki have created in Google Slides and Power Point describing our eTwinning partners' homelands.

Celebrating the European Day of Languages 2025

 

This year we celebrated the EDL in the 53rd Primary School of Thessaloniki with various activities in each class promoting the value of multilingualism and cultural diversity.

👉With D Class we talked about countries and nationalities as well as sports and free time activities.We draw and described people from different countries.With the help of AI (vidnoz.com) we created talking photos.

🟡 With E Class we took the EDL quiz challenge searching for the correct answer on the posters around the class.We discussed about the meaning of this year's EDL theme and made a relevant poster.

Our NEVER HAVE I EVER Board

#EU CODEWEEK 2024 IN OUR PRIMARY SCHOOL

 

EU Code Week is a grass initiative which aims to bring coding and digital literacy to everybody in a fun and engaging way...

This year the 72nd Primary School Of Thessaloniki,Greece joined the European Code Week with two exciting  unplugged activities.

Our little ones in B Class brought a little of the beauty of autumn in our classroom by colouring in number code pixel art.

This year my brilliant pupils of the 81st Kindergarden of Thessaloniki,Greece decoded the colours and shapes of autumn bringing a little of this season's beauty in our classroom.We joined this unplugged activity and draw different types of leaves with the corresponding colours.

OUR ETWINNING PROJECT WITH E CLASS 2022-2023

 

This school year our fifth graders have taken part in a European etwinning project where they raised environmental consciousness and became acquainted with ways to become "greener". 

We created avatars to introduce ourselves.

We created logos for our project and voted for our favourite one.

We worked in teams and prepared a collaborative book with environmental problem reports in our area.

OUR ETWINNING PROJECT WITH ST CLASS 2022-2023

 

This school year our sixth graders have taken part in a European etwinning project where they learnt about other countries and their culture and  made a collaborative digital trivial game!

In the beginning we introduced ourselves on our padlet being very careful not to mention our country.

Our next activity was to prepare 10 clues about our country that would help our partners guess which country we come from.In order to do that we collaborated with our schoolmates in the 50th Primary School of Thessaloniki that also takes part in the project.First we had an online meeting where we played a "spin the wheel game"to choose which clues each school would edit and then we  prepared our clues on a shared presentation.

We had to study the presentations of our partners to "get a clue" of their countries.

We then had to meet online with one of our partners to play a guessing game.What do we had to guess?Their country of course.For this activity we had prepared 20 Yes or No questions that we asked our partner country which turned out to be Romania!!!

We had a great time!!!

Each partner prepared digital tourist guides of their cities or countries.Once again we collaborated with the 50th Primary School  to make our tourist guide of Thessaloniki.

We prepared multiple choice questions about the sites we had recommended on our tourist guide and collaborated with our partners to make a common digital trivial game!!!

On April 27th we met online with our partners,played the trivial game and had fun together.We exchanged the warmest wishes for a happy summer!!
